PCB Membrane

A printed circuit board, or PCB, is used to mechanically support and electrically connect electronic components using conductive pathways, or traces, etched from copper sheets that have been laminated onto a dielectric (non-conductive) substrate.  A PCB may also be referred to as a printed wiring board (PWB) or etched wiring board.  When a PCB is populated with electronic components, it becomes a printed circuit assembly (PCA), also known as a printed circuit board assembly (PCBA).

PCBs are very durable, inexpensive, and have proven to be highly reliable.  Additionally, the same feature options available to a flex membrane switch may also be applied to a PCB:

  • Tactile & Non-Tactile
  • Rigid Printed Circuit Board
  • Embedded LEDs
  • Fiber Optic Backlighting
  • Electroluminescent Backlighting

Pannam will design, manufacture and assemble a complete PCB/Membrane Switch assembly to meet your needs.
