SimTouch™ – SimScroll® – SimSlide™

Through Pannam’s years of experience and expertise in manufacturing and designing membrane switch technology, we recognize that light-touch actuation force switches are quickly becoming the industry standard for high-end electronic devices and appliances.

Pannam has acquired a unique patented technology, SimTechnology, that mimics a capacitive touch screen.  SimTechnology adds elegance while maintaining functionality at a lower cost than traditional capacitive touch switches.  This new and innovative membrane switch is available in three options:

• SimTouch Keypad is designed to create the one-touch actuation of capacitive touch switches.
• SimScroll Keypad is a circular switch array that utilizes our advanced SimTouch switch technology.
• SimSlide Keypad is a sliding switch array that utilizes the same advanced SimTouch switch technology.

SimTouch, SimScroll and SimSlide each use a flexible overlay laminated to the switch circuit.  Low actuation force and extremely short travel distances create the experience of a capacitive touch switch.  What’s more, these interfaces can be constructed using such materials to provide a smooth glass-like or stainless steel look.
